General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC)

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) govern all product sales offered on the website banzai-editions.com, operated by Banzai Éditions. Any order placed on this site implies unconditional acceptance of the GTC outlined below. We invite you to read these terms carefully before confirming any order.

2. Products

The products offered for sale on our website primarily include books, art publications, and other derivative products. Each product is accompanied by a detailed description, including its essential characteristics, price, and availability. We reserve the right to modify the product offerings at any time.

3. Orders

Orders can be placed directly on the website banzai-editions.com. After validating your order, you will receive a confirmation email summarizing essential information (ordered products, total price, delivery address, etc.). This confirmation constitutes the conclusion of the sales contract between the buyer and Banzai Éditions.

We reserve the right to refuse any order in case of disputes with the customer, particularly in cases of non-payment for a previous order.

4. Prices

Product prices are indicated in euros (€), inclusive of all taxes (VAT included), unless stated otherwise. Delivery fees are calculated based on the destination and weight of the order. These fees will be specified during the ordering process before payment validation.

5. Payment

Payment for products is made online using secure payment methods offered on the site, such as credit card, PayPal, or other available options. Payment is due immediately upon ordering.

6. Delivery

Products are shipped to the delivery address provided during the order process. Delivery times are specified in our shipping policy. Delivery costs are borne by the buyer unless otherwise stated on the website.

We cannot be held responsible for delivery delays caused by external events such as strikes, postal service issues, or other causes beyond our control.

Receipt and Inspection of Package
Upon delivery, customers must inspect the condition of the package in the presence of the carrier before accepting it. In case of visible damage (torn, dented, wet, opened packaging, etc.), customers must:

  • Refuse delivery by specifying the exact reason to the carrier.
  • Or make detailed reservations on the delivery slip (e.g., "crushed package, potentially damaged product"). General reservations like "subject to unpacking" are not valid.
  • Ideally take photos of the package and send a claim within 24 hours to contact@banzai-editions.com.

⚠️ Claims regarding damaged packages will only be accepted if these conditions are met. Accepting a package without reservation implies acknowledgment of compliant delivery and excludes subsequent claims.

Carrier Responsibility
Once a package is accepted, any damage related to transportation becomes the customer's responsibility. In case of disputes, customers must contact the carrier directly.

7. Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with applicable legislation, you have a period of 14 days from receipt of products to exercise your right of withdrawal without providing reasons. To exercise this right, notify us via email at banzai.editions@gmail.com.

Returned products must be in perfect condition, unopened, and in their original packaging. Return shipping costs are borne by the buyer unless due to defective products or errors on our part.

8. Guarantees

All our products are guaranteed to conform to their descriptions and meet professional quality standards. In case of defective or damaged products, please contact us immediately at banzai.editions@gmail.com to arrange an exchange or refund according to your preference.

9. Liability

Banzai Éditions cannot be held liable for indirect or unforeseeable damages resulting from product purchases. We are not responsible for issues arising during delivery or other external events beyond our control.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this site—including books, illustrations, photographs, texts, and other elements—is protected by copyright and intellectual property rights. Any unauthorized reproduction or use of site elements is prohibited.

11. Personal Data

12. Modifications to GTC

We reserve the right to modify these General Terms and Conditions of Sale at any time. Changes will take effect upon publication on the website. It is therefore advisable to regularly review these GTC.

13. Applicable Law and Disputes

These GTC are governed by French law. In case of disputes, we commit to seeking an amicable solution first. Failing that, jurisdiction will lie with the court corresponding to Banzai Éditions' head office location.
